k&k episode 109 - the one where they gossip about Sarkozy... and stuff...

It's business as usual in episode 109, as we catch up on some feedback from listeners (and discuss Kyliemac's knoweldge of the kitchen), and we talk about our respective Christmases (including Walmart, Target and foie gras). Then we rant a bit about New Years traditions in France, the galette des rois and gossip for a bit about Sarkozy and his new girlfriend.

This episode was brought to you by the word "la cuisine" (the kitchen).

k&k episode 108 - the one where they learn a few manners... and stuff...

When in France, do as the French do - or everyone is going to laugh at you. In episode 108, we take a closer look at some of the more common rules of French social etiquette, and tell many an anecdote in the hopes that you guys are either a. able to learn something from it and not make the same mistakes as us, or b. entertained, or c. a little bit of both.

This episode was brought to you by the phrase "les bonnes manières" (good manners).

k&k episode 102 - the one where they taste the candy... or are they lollies? or sweets? ... and stuff...

Because it was simply impossible to pry the microphones out of the hands of our honoured guests, we have one last Porgy episode for you all in episode 102. Kyliemac pulls out the "halloween candy" and turns the group of non-Americans in front of her into guinea pigs for a while, then we continue in the format of the last few episodes -what one listener so astutely called "orchestrated chaos"- with some topics such as berets, being on time and bachelors jam. Thankyou Kim, Tracey, Pierre, Rhino75, Frog with a Blog for being such great guests. You're welcome back any time. Especially because you all pay attention to Symphony and prevent her from walking all over the mixer.

This episode was brought to you by the word "la confiture" (jam).
